1. Positioning and navigation

Wifarer is the global leader in indoor positioning technology. Our core engine works with a venue’s WiFi and a visitor’s smartphone to accurately pinpoint the location of a visitor inside a venue. Visitors glance at the map on their smartphone screens and instantly know where they are, even within large, complex, multi-level venues.

Wifarer enables navigation from a visitor’s current location to any destination within the venue. Our searchable directory lets visitors find where they want to go and draws them a path on the map from where they are currently standing to their destination.

2. Location based services (LBS)

Because Wifarer’s core engine pinpoints visitors’ location in real time, it can provide them with relevant information about locations within eyeshot. This location-based content includes coupons, video, audio, images, and text. At the shopping center, visitors get coupons in front of retailers; at the museum, they view video about an artist while standing in front of his painting.
